Computer Aided Nozzle Spray Pattern Analysis
Spray pattern analysis ensures proper coolant distribution across the roll and is completed before system is designed. When necessary, custom nozzle plates are designed to accommodate existing mill equipment.
Using internal mill dimensions provided by the customer, USC can conduct a study illustrating nozzle footprints under various mill operating conditions. These studies generate nozzle data sheets and CAD drawings illustrating the footprint, overlap and possible interference for each nozzle selected.
