United States Controls (USC) has the specific mill duty spray valve precisely for your needs.  US Controls is 100% focused on providing superior cooling systems for your rolling mill application.  It’s all we do.  Your equipment will be designed, manufactured, assembled, and tested in our Ohio and Pennsylvania, USA facilities.

Our equipment lasts for decades – and so do our customer relations.  We still fully support every piece of equipment we have manufactured over 40+ years.  Many of our original systems are still operating today --- every day, after 40 years!

Who We Are...

Originally founded in 1983, US Controls put its mark on the rolling mill industry almost immediately with our superior modular valve designs that outlast and outperform the competition.  Our engineers have over 70 years of rolling mill spray valve experience and have designed well over 300 mill stands operating around the world.

We are headquartered just outside of Youngstown, Ohio where we design, build, and test our equipment.  We machine our own sub-components in our sister company’s machine shop (Solenoid Solutions) in Erie, Pa.  US Controls is privately held – and our major shareholder remains active in the business.

Exclusive Design/Engineering Services
USC systems are designed individually for you!  Having had long term relationships with the industries’ major AFC engineers and mill builders, it is very easy for USC to work with the respective mill builder to integrate USC equipment with any mill.  There is no need to compromise.
